S.S. Tuapse (Soviet Tanker, 1921)
At San Francisco, Calif., between 1942 and 1945
This ship, completed in 1921 as the American tanker District of Columbia, was loaned to the U.S.S.R. in 1942 under Lend Lease. Shortly after her return by the Soviets in 1945 she became USS Serapis (IX-213).
