Photographed on 29 March 1943 by the Mare Island Navy Yard after receiving alterations at that yard.
This 40-year old former wooden freighter is carrying a single Army model 40mm gun aft and four 20mm guns on the superstructure. The short row of limber holes below the smokestack shows the height of the main deck above the waterline.
